Laurie J. Jackson is a writer and artist, born in Saratoga Springs, New York. She pursued a master’s degree of Arts in Writing at Coastal Carolina University. Fascinated with the combination of text and image, Laurie strives to find the colors for each page. Influenced by her love of competitive swimming and the beauty of water, she explores the cause and effect of ripples life creates. She is sketching and drafting to find where her story comes together.

She is currently working on a young adult series, while writing and illustrating her children’s book. Laurie has experience in copywriting and editing, and she is available for freelance writing and artwork. Her portfolio focuses on a combination of her creative writing with her academic writing.
